PumaCRETE 401-ECO® was developed for the U.S. Postal Service as a long term alternative to asphalt plank (tile) flooring. When the asphalt plank ACM flooring breaks, crumbles and fails, it must be replaced. PumaCRETE 401- ECO® is an approved trowelled mortar, which is self priming and sealing (one pass application). It bonds tenaciously, and has extreme durability against repeated heavy loads. It resists abrasion from the wheels of heavy carts, constant forklift traffic, and other typical material handling equipment. It is typically installed at ¼ to 5/8 inch thickness.

PumaCRETE 401-ECO® may be installed for optimization projects, which require re-use and renovation of existing space that currently have asphalt plant flooring. It is also specified for new construction.
PumaCRETE may be used to fill voids where the asphalt plank is missing, or to replace damaged asphalt planks. For retrofit applications, this resurfacer may eliminate the costly need for concrete slab removal and replacement.
PumaCRETE 401-ECO® is typically installed over concrete, asphalt planks/tiles/mastic, and structurally sound toppings including cement board, plywood, ceramic & quarry tile, brick, and polymer cement screeds such as Cement-All.
Unlike other materials, it handles high levels of moisture (from above and below slab), without buckling or lifting.
PumaCRETE 401-TF® is a versatile primer/sealer. It may be used as a primer, an encapsulant for 401-TF Composite® primer system, or as a topcoat for 401-ECO. It is applied at 5-6 mils thickness, and provides the ultimate in adhesion to old asphaltic materials For heavy powered lift areas, we recommend the 401-TF Composite® application, as the initial layer over the substrate. This system includes a 6 oz fiberglass reinforcement fabric.
