PumaCRETE 401-ECO® was developed for the U.S. Postal Service as a long term alternative to asphalt plank (tile) flooring. When the asphalt plank ACM flooring breaks, crumbles and fails, it must be replaced. PumaCRETE 401- ECO® is an approved trowelled mortar, which is self priming and sealing (one pass application). It bonds tenaciously, and has extreme durability against repeated heavy loads. It resists abrasion from the wheels of heavy carts, constant forklift traffic, and other typical material handling equipment. It is typically installed at ¼ to 5/8 inch thickness.
PumaCRETE 401-ECO®
PumaCRETE 401-ECO® is typically installed over properly prepared concrete and structurally sound toppings including cement board and polymer cement screeds such as Cement-All. Unlike other materials, it handles high levels of moisture (from above and below slab), without buckling or lifting.
For special applications, PumaCRETE 401-TF® is a versatile primer/sealer. It may be applied 5-6 mils as a primer or top coat, for 401-ECO. For areas where the asphaltic or asbestos layer cannot be disturbed, the 401-TF Composite® system may be applied over these materials, as the initial layer over the substrate. This system includes a 6 oz fiberglass reinforcement fabric. Finally 401-ECO is applied as the final coat, at nominal 1/2 inch thickness. This system may be used in non powered lift areas.
NON TOXIC
This water-based material is odor-free and non toxic.
FAST TURNAROUND
Cures quickly, allowing heavy traffic to resume in less than 24 hrs.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Simply sweep and mop regularly (wax may be applied, to enhance gloss).
