PumaCrete™ is a heavy-duty polyurethane concrete mortar system engineered specifically for abusive industrial environments. Standard epoxy coatings are thin film and brittle, rendering them susceptible to cracking under thermal shock or heavy impact. PumaCrete™ combines resin-rich polyurethane with cementitious aggregates, providing superior thermal resilience, impact dampening, and permanent moisture tolerance.
PumaCrete™ is engineered for high-demand processing and mission-critical facilities:
Yes. PumaCrete™ cures to a 100% seamless, non-porous surface that inhibits fungal and bacterial growth. It fully complies with USDA, FDA, CFIA, and OSHA requirements for safe food processing and sanitary environments.
PumaCrete™ shares a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to concrete. This thermal-matching capability allows it to withstand continuous high-pressure steam cleaning, hot oil washdowns, and sudden ambient temperature drops from -40°F up to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C) without delaminating or cracking.
It exhibits outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals including organic acids (lactic, citric, animal fats), inorganic acids, alkalis, harsh sanitizers, aromatic solvents, and hydraulic fluids.
Yes. Formulated with compressive strengths exceeding 8,000 PSI, PumaCrete™ easily absorbs heavy dynamic loads, steel-wheeled cart transfers, high-frequency forklift traffic, and dropped equipment without chipping or fracture.
Static electricity discharges in data halls can scramble server memory, corrupt data streams, and burn out networking hardware. PumaESD™ provides continuous low-charge generation (charge body voltage <15V) and low-VOC off-gassing to protect server hardware and maintain indoor air quality.
In pyrotechnic or energetic powder environments, even an invisible static spark can trigger catastrophic ignition. Systems engineered below 300,000 Ω provide essential safety headroom well beneath the DoD 1,000,000 Ω maximum allowable threshold.
PumaCrete™ is designed to minimize facility operational downtime:
Accelerated rapid-cure options are available for tight weekend or overnight shutdown schedules.
Yes. PumaCrete™ exhibits high moisture vapor tolerance, enabling application onto damp concrete or un-cured slabs without risk of moisture vapor transmission (MVT) blistering or delamination.
Substrates undergo mechanical shot-blasting or scarification to achieve an ICRI Concrete Surface Profile of CSP 3 to 5. Keyway anchor grooves (1/4" x 1/4") are cut around all perimeters, drains, columns, and doorways to mechanically lock the mortar matrix into the slab.
PumaCrete™ floors can be easily maintained using high-pressure hot water washdowns, rotary floor scrubbing machines, high-pressure steam cleaning, and standard industrial degreasers or sanitizing detergents.
Technical technical consultations, moisture testing, and on-site budget assessments are coordinated directly through PumaCrete.net. Our engineering specialists evaluate chemical exposure profiles, thermal shock demands, and static control parameters to deliver exact architectural specifications.
